Goal 2: Make Washtenaw County a breastfeeding friendly environment where women are encouraged and supported in their efforts to breastfeed.
Initiative 1: Care for Moms- An Ice cream Social event (Annual event)
Objectives:
Increase our ability to provide breastfeeding information and support in the prenatal period for at risk pregnant women and their families.
Increase access to breastfeeding support services in the prenatal period for at risk pregnant women and their families.
Increased breastfeeding initiation and duration rates for at risk pregnant women.
Create breast feeding as the societal norm
